Its likely that a few CL commands are written for windows (ie. not JAVA). I'll also add my own WOAH! to the statement that just initiating a JAVA environment consumes 20MB of memory not to mention the additional 20MB for the actual application. My desktop 'puter trembles from hearing that Eclipse will run almost entirely on JAVA.
