Forgive me if I'm jumping in without understanding the issues....but, at one point with VisualRPG my help stopped working. I found a reference (in this list I believe) that pointed out that if your company uses a proxy server, you need to change some settings in your browser so it looks for the help locally, rather than trying to go out on the Internet. I don't know if that's your problem (when help doesn't work, is it trying to find an internet site?), but if it is, I know the answer to that. >>> Booth@MartinVT.com 05/03/02 11:50 AM >>> -- -- [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] Keep asking them!!! I never got it to work, and that was after repeated attempts on my part to follow their very explicit instructions. I thought I was the only one left in the world that couldn't fix it. I am guessing it has to do with paths, and the java stuff. There's a readme txt somewhere in the installation package. To answer your question, no. I never got help back. I've totally given up. Not only that, everytime I go to the IBM website for the manuals, its been moved to another secret location. It is my fear that this is an example of our future in the World of Java. --------------------------------------------------------- Booth Martin http://www.MartinVT.com Booth@MartinVT.com --------------------------------------------------------- -------Original Message------- From: David Schopp Date: Friday, May 03, 2002 12:30:51 To: Booth@MartinVT.com Subject: A little help? Hey Booth, I saw that you had (hopefully past tense) the same problem I'm having with regards to the AS/400 WDT tools - that is, my help no longer works. I upgraded from V4r5 to V5r1 and voila! No help. I was wondering if you could share how (IF?) you got help to wor for you, specifically with Code/Edit?
