Good News Everybody!

Please report any problems to david (at) midrange.com.

Forgive me if I'm jumping in without understanding the issues....but,

at one point with VisualRPG my help stopped working. I found a reference (in
this list I believe) that pointed out that if your company uses a proxy server,
you need to change some settings in your browser so it looks for the help
locally, rather than trying to go out on the Internet.

I don't know if that's your problem (when help doesn't work, is it trying to
find an internet site?), but if it is, I know the answer to that.

Keep asking them!!! I never got it to work, and that was after repeated
attempts on my part to follow their very explicit instructions.

I thought I was the only one left in the world that couldn't fix it.

I am guessing it has to do with paths, and the java stuff. There's a readme
txt somewhere in the installation package.

To answer your question, no. I never got help back. I've totally given up.
Not only that, everytime I go to the IBM website for the manuals, its been
moved to another secret location. It is my fear that this is an example of
our future in the World of Java.

Subject: A little help?

Hey Booth,

I saw that you had (hopefully past tense) the same problem I'm having
with regards to the AS/400 WDT tools - that is, my help no longer works. I
upgraded from V4r5 to V5r1 and voila! No help.

I was wondering if you could share how (IF?) you got help to wor for
you, specifically with Code/Edit?

TIA
