     Yes, I believe we do use a firewall, but I don't know about the
proxy
     server.  I did try changing that setting you mentioned, but it
still
     fails (this time it failed at the 67.7 MB mark).

     Have logged a call with our MIS group to see if there is anything
on
     our side that may be to blame.

Hi Douglas...

By any chance are you behind a firewall or proxy/socks server?

IBM's FTP site is one of the most finicky I have dealt with when trying
to
download from IE.

To get it to reliably work with huge files, you will need to goto
Internet
Opions under the Tools menu.  Click the Advanced Tab, and select 'Use
Passive FTP'.

That's the only thing that has worked for me when downloading large
files
using IE...

     Since last Friday, I have tried to download the complete version of

     SP4, and have never got thru the download without an error.  So
far, I
     have tried around 6 times.  I get around 1/2 or 3/4 thru, and the
     download crashes.  Of course, it's a HUGE download.  Anyone have
     suggestions?  I don't want to run the Web update, because there are
a
     lot of programmers here using CODE, and I want to download it once
and
     then put it on the server for the others.
