It is an IBM newsgroup.  They have one for CODE/400, VARPG, and Studio400.
Plus many others.  They are very well supported by IBM people.  They are on
IBM's own servers, so are fairly clean.  You can use a news client to
access them at news.software.ibm.com.  Or you can access them thru Google
groups at

     http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=en&group=ibm.software.varpg

I looked for VARPG at midrange.com and didn't find one.  Where is the VARPG
group?  Not usenet I hope.
