You are right! The 'save' or 'refresh' seems to change the 'Type' to *BLANK. Using CPO: 1) Do a get from host (I chose an RPG Source member) 2) Go to Local, and open member in Code Edit 3) Click Save Button on Toolbar in Code Edit 4) Do a refresh all in CPO & the type is now blank Hope this helps track/fix the problem, David -----Original Message----- From: haklui@ca.ibm.com [mailto:haklui@ca.ibm.com] Sent: Monday, February 04, 2002 7:07 AM To: code400-l@midrange.com Subject: Re: Losing TYPE in CPO If the source type on AS/400 is not specified, then *BLANK will be assumed on your CPO properties when you get it from host. On AS/400, do a 'WRKMBRPDM library/file' and you will see what the 'Type' is set to. We've found out that a *BLANK type is what causes the insertion of a 4 or a 0 in the text field when putting to host. But what causes the type to become *BLANK? I've noticed that when I edit a source file on my PC via CPO, then save it, the type sometimes becomes *BLANK during the save. Any idea what causes it? Phil PS: O. 4. Blank.
