That is: 1. Set the registry key. [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\IBM\WDT400\Transient] "InstallSrcpath"="G:" Replace "G:" with where the source you install from(your CD drive letter). 2. Run install\msisetup.exe (in CD1) 3. Run install\bin\v51setup.exe (in CD1) When I went into regedit I notice that IBM\WDT400\Transient didn't exist, so I added it. Not working much with entries in the registry, I typed the whole "InstallSrcpath"="G:" in the name field and not the name and data fields. Anyway, I ran the msisetup.exe and v51setup.exe, then installed the software. It appeared to have install just fine, but now I get an error when I boot up and the comm daemon won't come up. I went back and looked at the registry and it appears to have put the "InstallSrcpath" out there properly, obviously during the install. So, I guess my question is, should I delete the entry I made in the registry and try the install again to see if it clears up the error, or is there another reason for the error? The error I receive is: "evfcsvrd.exe encountered a problem and needs to close." I looked at the detail and saw that the ModName is cppwob3i.dll. Mean anything to anyone????? Thanks for the help! I'll get this working some day! ;) Chris Thanks, Chris Proctor Manager of Systems Integration Gart Sports 1050 Hampden Ave. Englewood, CO 80110 Phone (303) 863-2280 Fax (303) 863-2263 mailto: cproctor@gartsports.com
