Exactly how my setup works. My question: does "<>" mean the first server in the list and not the default server? -----Original Message----- From: code400-l-admin@midrange.com [mailto:code400-l-admin@midrange.com]On Behalf Of Phil Sent: Friday, November 23, 2001 7:39 PM To: code400-l@midrange.com Subject: RE: CPO question/server selection Reeve, Here's what I have: I have three servers: AS400_1 AS400_2 AS400_3 Each a different AS/400 For a project for AS400_2, I have added filters that look like this under 'All filters': <AS400_2>DEVLIB/QRPGLESRC(*) <AS400_2>DEVLIB/QDDSSRC(*) <LOCAL>D:\Docume~1\phil\MyDocu~1\source If I right-click and select Project Setup, a box appears. Then select Actions tab. The bottom of the panel is 'Server For Remote Project Actions'. I must make sure <AS400_2> is selected. If <> is selected, it won't work. If I add a filter like this: <>DEVLIB/QRPGLESRC(*) then CPO selects the first server it finds (I don't know how it sorts) even though Project Setup is set to <AS400_2>. Hope this helps, Phil > -----Original Message----- > From: code400-l-admin@midrange.com > [mailto:code400-l-admin@midrange.com]On Behalf Of Reeve Fritchman > Sent: Friday, November 23, 2001 5:36 PM > To: CODE400-L@midrange. com > Subject: CPO question/server selection > > > This is a multi-part message in MIME format. > -- > I have three servers set up in V5R1 CODE/400. > > My default server is #3 (Communications console, Local settings). > My member > filter is set up as "<>LTL400V365/Q*(FX*)".
