Don Chamberlin and it's "Using the New DB2". I don't know what the current printing is, but it's published by Morgan Kaufmann. It is _directly_ related to DB2 UDB (on platforms other than the 400) but applies equally to the 400, except for the cube, rollup, grouping sets and recursion. the other, believe it or not, is the "Oracle Ni, The Complete Reference" where N is some number. This book gets bigger and heavier with every release (8i is the latest one I have, about 3" thick) sort of like the CL Commands manuals from release 3 through release 8. Anyway, it's a great reference for Oracle and sometimes provides some "comic relief" from the dry way the DB2 approaches everything. I use to use the Informix books too, but gee.... no need for them now <vbg> =========================================================== R.
