I also agree 100%, I use it exactly like Dwight and Dawn.  Don't mess up a
good thing.

I agree 100%!  I almost never use prompting.  The LPEX editor is very easy
to use and with tab putting the cursor where I need it is great.  It would
be very cumbersome to use CODE like SEU.

Maybe it is just me - but there is only real reason why I ever used
prompting is SEU and I don't need it in Code/400.

I used prompt because SEU doesn't understand what the Tab key is for unless
you are in prompt.  With Code I get the Tab key working as expected _and_
the format line shows me where I am _and_ the F1 key is sensitive to where
I'm keying so I can get help on any column I want.  I've used Code for
years and the only time I've ever used prompting was when demonstrating to
SEU users that you could do it if you needed!

Even if I absolutely had to do an insert under prompt I can press Ctrl + F4
which is easier that moving to the sequence number area and typing IPx.

Do you really need it to behave like SEU which in your own words is "a bit
cryptic"??
