OK,

Things might not be so bad if you use tab in the text to get from one area
to the next as the prompt gives you in SEU. Still, the average user who is
used to SEU and knows how to use this function very well, gets on Code and
find themselves lost.

It doesn't seem to me that keeping some of that compatibility would hurt the
product for those of you who know how to use the features you all are
telling me about. My point was that Violaine says the same function is
there, in her book about code. Unless it has all the previous function you
will limit someone's capabilities.

I've heard about code for a lot of years, but only been able to try it for
last 6-8 months. I've not found any IBM books like we used to have for SEU
telling you how to use it. I have only had internet access available from
this shop for a month or two. When I clicked on help, I got the traditional
Microsoft Windows help screens that were quite useless. I was surprised to
find web pages when I clicked on help and tutorial the other day. Maybe part
of my problem learning about things had to do with the limited help that was
there from the windows help stuff.

I will take some time over the coming week and see if I can learn the
techniques you folk have been talking about.

So far, from my perspective it seems slower to manipulate due to the
differences in keys, and if I accidentally click on the x in the top corner,
or windows crashes, I have never had it come up and say, "Would you like to
recover from what happened?"

Thanks sharing how you use it.
Dwight @ Ruger
