Eric - you're starting to sound like a Microsoft support rep! - you'll have us reload the OS next <grin> I've found that when this happens (at least on NT and Win2K) you need to get into the task list and kill all the evf... tasks (of course a reboot achieves the same thing but it is a bit drastic). There is one in particular (sorry can't recall the name right now) that always shows up (at least) twice when this error has occurred.
