The only thing I can think of Gene is that your news server does not link
to that particular news group.  I have a similar problem if I try to go to
comp.sys.ibm.as400.misc

I have the newsgroups configured in Netscape messenger and it works fine
for me.

PS.  They also have groups for WDT/400 and Code/400 (which at long last is
getting some IBM presence)
