I am using the CODE/400 Code Editor (OS400 = V4R2M0, CODE/400 = V3R2M2, service pack = SP002, and OS = WIN98) and I am having a problem with the F9 Command Shell function. I am having two types of problems. First I am unable to do any command processing from this window within the editor for both Local and OS400 type commands. The second problem is when I try to exit the Code editor and the Command Shell (F9) has been used, I am unable to exit completely. I get two messages they are as follows: The first is the normal message: CODE - EVF9452W - Warning This session may contain an active program. Do you want to close the session without saving your data? YES NO The second message occurs when you hit YES on the above message: CODE - EVF9453W - Warning The command shell process will not shut down. Do you want to close the session without waiting? YES NO This results in a program being left open when you do a ctrl-alt-delete. The program that is left open is EVFWSP40. This function was working at one point when the package was first loaded on to my system. Since the problem has surfaced I have reinstalled the CODE/400 package and WINDOWS 98. If anyone has had this problem in the past, please let me know how it was corrected. Any guidance on this subject would be a great help. Thanks!
