I suppose a hard-coded divide by zero in your startup routine isn't a huge
impact on a long-running program. If it's a sub-program that you call
over
and over again it might be a little uglier.
Your point is well-taken - for a main program it isn't a big deal but for a
sub-routine I would have to set up a first-time-through-switch to only do it
the first iteration.
I really don't like "hacks" like that but if that is my only option I will
do so. I just can't believe that there is not a proper way to get that area
populated other than forcing a "fake" error.
