Perhaps that is the problem.

GOBACK is a dangerous one if maintaining the run unit is important, because
it will become a STOP RUN if the program is the root of the run unit.

None that I can think of - why would you think there would be?

Well I'm looking at the on-line version in CODE and it is there.  Are you
sure you're not looking at the OPM COBOL manual?
