Come, look, read, laugh! See the silly newbie as he gets fancy and COBOL
syntax bites him on the bum!

This works:

   03  SFL1-STATUS     PIC 1.
     88  SFL1-HAS-MORE-RECORDS         VALUE B"0".
     88  SFL1-IS-AT-END                VALUE B"1".

   SET SFL1-HAS-MORE-RECORDS TO TRUE
   PERFORM READ-SUBFILE THROUGH READ-SUBFILE-END
      UNTIL SFL1-IS-AT-END

It does NOT work when the "SET" is in the READ-SUBFILE paragraph. Well, it
works the first time, and then from then on no records are ever read from
the subfile. As I found out, this is because the default for "UNTIL" is
"TEST BEFORE", a leading comparison.

<sigh>

One of these days, I may get the hang of this.

Joe
