Hi Patrik!

I was studying this manual: ftp://ftp.www.ibm.com/systems/power/docs/systemi/v5r3/en_US/dsm.pdf

I am using DSM, because I thought it would be the best option for what I am developing, I am developing an IRC Client for ILE ... and the part of the screen where the messages received and sent will be displayed, I would like to update it with each new message received , without interfering in the message that the user is typing ... if that is possible in the 5250 environment, if it is not possible, I believe that making a refresh button would be the best alternative

I am studying the DSM APIs and I am trying to understand how to use the API, QsnWrtSFMaj, to create checkbox, pushbuttons and etc ...

Based on this example, I tried to understand how the API works, but it was not clear how it works, because apparently in RPG less parameters are sent to the function, already in C, there are N parameters that are not clear what they are
Did you have a look at the Application Display Programming manual? DSM is explained there, to some extent.
