No. PHP itself doesn't do this. There are several template engines for PHP. Smarty is one of them. But how would I access a PHP template engine from RPG?

And I am not talking about a web framework. I am talking about a template engine only. Output should be available in
- a file
- buffer (variable)
- stream (stdout f. e. )
- ...

(www.clearsilver.net) to ILE C to be able to use it from RPG.
