Hopefully this isn't an "OOPS" moment as you've backed up your data, but wr+
mode means open for reading, writing or updating. Another thing it means is
that it'll clear any existing data unless the file being opened is a logical
file.
In other words your two records are deleted.

I suspect what you really need is mode "rr+", which means the same
(read/write/update) without clearing the file.

_Ropnfbk on a file opened with mode "wr+" returns a valid pointer, not
NULL. Members file_name and library_name are correct. Member
num_records, though, is 0, when I can plainly see with DSPPFM that there
are two records in the file. Any ideas?
