Re: calling a program using a variable

Glen,

I don't know REXX at all, but I believe it is really good at defning
variables on the fly and complex character string manipulations. Not much
help, but maybe there's a direction to take it. Someone on the midrange-L
list might help with that, there are some who are good at REXX.
