I was just going to reply that I just noticed your reply about V6. Sorry.
I wonder if you could cobble something together using the following:
Release License (QLZARLS) releases a use of the license for the product.
Request License (QLZAREQ) requests a use of the license for the product.
Retrieve License Information (QLZARTV) retrieves the license information for a software product.
The LICR0200 format retrieves ..., and the list of current license users.

Use "Retrieve License Information (QLZARTV)" to see if that is where they store it.
Use "Release License (QLZARLS)" to release it.
