Wait, I did find a RLSLXLIC in library BPCSLIC604. I tried it for one of the users that retired and it looks like it removed her from the licensed users!

Thanks so much!

Did you notice Kevin's reply after the Ironic question?
Do you have the RLSLXLIC command he mentioned?

Yes, it is strange indeed. I never had this problem before. We did have a BPCS audit early this year. I emailed the auditor to see if they did something that would change the release of my old users but have not heard back. I am not aware of any release licensed user command for the V6 BPCS.

Ted,

Ironic, isn't it, that they wouldn't automatically release licenses? We're on ERP LX 8.3 and there is a standard LX command "RLSLXLIC" in library SSAGTLIC83. Must be done with QSECOFR authority. We've created a scheduled job that runs it for us over a list of obsolete user ID's.

Hello,
I am having an issue with my BPCS license key holding on to old users that have been removed from the system. I am trying to add a new BPCS user and the system is telling me I reached my threshold. When I use the wrklicinf command and then option 8 to work with license users for my 1BPCS64 V6 key, it is counting people that have retired and don't even have an AS400 user profile.

I have removed the users from the ZMA, ZX2 and ZX3 tables but still get the message when trying to sign on with a new profile that I am trying to add. I am running version 6.04 of BPCS.

Does anyone know if there is anything else to do? Has anyone had this problem before?

Thanks,
