Objective 2 . we were located in an industrial park, with a local Cessna
airport, before it became a Foreign Trade Zone, over 10 years ago. In my
opinion, the company has not made the use of this, that we could be. I am
not qualified to comment on the impact of this on BPCS.

You might consider including a character for FTZ in your warehouse and
location naming conventions. We use characters to designate combination of
geography and type of content (e.g. QC rejects & unresolved RMAs).

A related issue, is our auditors need an annual report on shipments made by
geography. This has been a royal pain for me to construct, because we have
customers with ship to Canada but bill to Ohio, or same customer account but
ship all over USA. Fortunately, shipping history, combined with invoice
history, we are able to extract the needed info. If it is ever needed for
vendor deliveries, the challenge would be much greater, due to the large
number of suppliers which drop ship from other places. We can tell this
from the payable paperwork, but not from data into BPCS.
