For your consideration:
Is the Foreign Trade Zone the same warehouse? Do you allow transfer
between warehouses? Have you identified specific locations for Foreign
Trade Zone?
You can use the Warehouse or Locations to analyze all transactions.
(Objective 2) If you use a "T" transaction for regular transfer. You
could create a "TZ" "TF" for the transfers from the Foreign Trade Zone.
Based on the location you can change the transaction in INV510. We did
this on transactions between Warehouses. We use "T9" for transfers
between Warehouses, like a resupply order type 9.
Objective 3 - run a query for all "T" transactions by item. The
positive / negative transfer transactions should offset to 0 (zero).
objective 1 - How many people can do cycle counts? Can you identify
this by user?

Not to gum up the works but wouldn't the Inventory reason code be
sufficient to delineate the records in ITH. Then you could sum From and
Two to look for differences.
Also are you using INV500, INV510 or INV511. Do you have LX Connector ?

Good question. There are three objectives:
1 - Our inventory control Manager wants to identify and
analyze particular transfers his people make in the corrections they make
as a result of their cycle count work - to identify and count repetitive
errors made by material handlers, for example,
2 - We are preparing for the installation of a Foreign
Trade Zone, so we must identify transfers made between locations inside
the zone and locations outside the zone, which we are doing by location,
and
3 - Identify transfers that are only half-entered into
BPCS, which happens seldom but has happened. For example: the part was
transferred from location A, but the other half of the entry doesn't ever
get entered.
