Dee,

If you have the programming skills available you can cpysplf and create your own interpreter and print from the generated file. Many of the print interpreter functions can be duplicated or emulated by the advanced functions available in the print file field keyword options. BUT, you will need an advance printer function printer or emulator to take advantage of them. If you only need checks, writing your own can be a better option than the purchase, maintenance and support of a seperate package.

Subject: [BPCS-L] printing issues - trying to migrate to erplx 8.3.4 from 6.1.02

We are planning to migrate from BPCS 6.1.02 to ErpLx 8.3.4. I know that some of
he database files are CCSid 937. I just tried to print a vanilla A/P check and
he writer ended. I am using a Printronix twinax printer that runs through a
osaNova etwinax controller.
1. Can I use twinax printers using 5250 data stream?
2. 2. We have no source - without source or a forms package is there any
ay to print an a/p check on a 7 x 8 ½" pre-printed form.
Any suggestions in what to look for in a new line printer?
Any suggestions on a forms package that will reformat the a/p check using a
ine printer and the above specifications?
