In most cases all of this information can be found in the ITH (Transaction history file) providing that your purge parameters for inventory transactions is set to 365 days, then you'll have a rolling year of history.
You can then determine how your company will define what to deem as usage based upon the transaction effect codes, for example any "T" transfer transactions would ne be considered usage within the same facility.
The monthly demand would be calculated based upon the average monthly quantity in customer/shop orders depending upon the level of the material in the product structure. I'd used customer orders for finished goods and the shop orders for components.
