The use of the sequence number has not changed in any version of BPCS/LX. Yes it used to control the displaying of transactions in INV300.

It is used to sequence the records in the transaction history display
INV300 on 6.1.

Didn't see an answer but I am "cleaning" out my email.

It may do more; but what we use it as a sort key in inv300 (I think it
is f10) to show the order in which transactions are received in ITH...
Date and time does not always work....

Could someone explain the purpose of the sequence number on ITH.
Is it just to create a unique record or does it have a deeper function
in BPCS?

Regards,

George
