Hi Tom,
As far as I know, the V5R3 issues are with SQL (change required to QAQQINI), and with Client/Server BPCS, especially NEWI, for which you would need SSA OGS assistance. Neither of these should affect a V4 version of BPCS unless you have mods which use SQL maybe. You can find the instructions for the SQL fix by searching the IBM PTF site for BPCS, and reading the relevant APAR.

We are on BPCS 4.0.03 with custom Y2K mods. We preparing to upgrade our
iSeries, to a box that requires V5R3. While I have no reason to believe that
there will be any issues (we are on V5R1 now, and old BPCS is straight RPG),
I think it prudent to ask ....

Do any of you know of any issues with the pre-V6 versions of BPCS on V5R3?
