Hi Tom.Besides the license key requirement of moving to a new processor, there would be at least one other application related issue you would probably encounter. I'm going by some projects that I did on moving 4.05.CD to Risc-V5R2 machines. The existing BPCS programs (in ver 4.05CD downwards) that are needed to validate lic.key will not work on any of the Risc machine. you would require a patch on this. Normally SSA would provided this if you're on OGS. Besides this, there should not be any issue. If you require a copy of this patch, pls. contact me off-line at this e-mail below. Greetings ... We are on BPCS 4.0.03 with custom Y2K mods. We preparing to upgrade ouriSeries, to a box that requires V5R3. While I have no reason to believe that there will be any issues (we are on V5R1 now, and old BPCS is straight RPG),I think it prudent to ask .... Do any of you know of any issues with the pre-V6 versions of BPCS on V5R3?
