I would still suggest considering the iSeries version of the software due
to the considerable size of the install base and the rich base of
knowledge and support. Not to mention a lower TCO over the life of the use
of the application and systems, higher reliability and the availability of
a pool of talent with considerable BPCS experience on the AS/400 and
iSeries.

I am biased as I do sell these products.

Our organization has been on the Oracle based systems for over 5 years.
The
product is stable and performance is good. The response to any problems
or
question is outstanding and well as the technical help.

Our only concern is that they are now 2 releases behind on the 8.0
product.
In order to get the release the 8.2 release; due sometime late this year /
early next year, the Oracle community as a group had to let SSA/GT know
each
of our intentions so that could establish an RIO because of the limited
number of clients on the platform.

So if being current and wanting new features is a concern then you would
either have to be a big enough client for them to do it, pay for it, or
get
the rest of the Oracle based users to committee with you.

If you have any specific question or concerns, please call me at
