Functionally Mixed Mode and Client Server are identical.  On the AS/400
side, as Al says Client Server requires somewhat more AS/400 power and the
interface is more complicated.  For my money, if you're on the AS/400 and
your users aren't fanatics for a GUI interface, I'd go with Mixed Mode.
