With Mixed Mode, you could always look at BPCS.Enable to provide those GUI fanatics with a personalised look and feel to the traditional Green Screens from Mixed Mode. We have even had a ClientServer user implement Mixed Mode in order to take advantage of BPCS.Enable. See your SSA Account Manager for more details. On the AS/400 side, as Al says Client Server requires somewhat more AS/400 power and the interface is more complicated. For my money, if you're on the AS/400 and your users aren't fanatics for a GUI interface, I'd go with Mixed Mode. -----Original Message----- From: bpcs-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:bpcs-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Mand Sent: Tuesday, May 27, 2003 7:17 AM To: SSA's BPCS ERP System Subject: Re: differences betwen mixed mode and client server Thank you Al Mac but I am looking in BPCS persepective for choosing the version client server and the other. --- Al Mac <macwheel99@xxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > You have to get more 400 hardware to get the same > thing accomplished from a > user/manager perspective, or else client server on a > box that used to do > mixed mode becomes a real dog. > > > > Dear All > > > > Could anybody mention the difference between > >client server ver and mixed mode in terms of > >performance and reliability. > >_______________________________________________________________________ >_ > >Missed your favourite TV serial last night?
