i can't comment about why it did not update inventory. we have had ITH
records become invisible because the ITH sequence number in the item
master is lower that the actual sequence number in the ITH. when inv300
displays ITH transactions it takes the sequence number from the item
master and then display the ITH records that have a sequence number that
is less than (maybe equal to or less than) the item master sequence
number. where we ran across this was with the configurator. an item
master would get created and ITH records logged against it. then the
configurator will sometimes inactivate the item master record and create
a new one. when it create the new one it sets the ITH sequence number to
zero. if you then use inv300 you will not see any ITH records!

We have a case in which a transaction record (PR) exists in the
ITH file but:

1 - It did not update inventory, and

2 - It does not appear in the history in INV300.

Anyone have an idea about what might have caused that?

        We're on BPCS 8.0 on an AS400
