We had this problem and others have asked this same question. BPCS 6.1
requires more interactive. The interactive portion of your system is
overloaded. IBM has some governors that kick in and try to manage the
work load.

You would think, SSA would document, advise companies of this. We
worked on conversion and made modifications to customize BPCS 6. But it
was going to cost too much to upgrade the system, so we retreated to BPCS
405CD.

Subject: BPCS not working at all

Hi all,

I'm running BPCS 6.1.0 client server on AS400 and I'm experiencing a big
problem right now.
when users try to get in BPCS there jobs jammed in the AS/400 and takes
high
percentage of CPU and they are not able to get in.
The wired thing is that happen in two of our systems even the setup is
completely independent.
Any help in this issue will be appreciated.

Regards.
