Subject: AS/400 Wireless Barcode Scanner

Does anybody know of a product that takes the place of the IBM 2482 bar code
scanner for the AS/400? We are looking for all the components: the scanner,
the network card for the AS/400, the antenna, etc.

For those not familiar with this product. This is a real time scanner for
the AS/400 that emulates a 5250 terminal. Thus any information that you
enter is immediately, without any other process, available to all the other
AS/400 users. It is wireless, uses a battery, can accept a variety of bar
code symbologies. Since it emulates a 5250, you can use an RPG program to
do the data collection.
