Danny,

Can you be a bit more specific on which EDI package you are talking about in
your Question? - Is this the 'old' non-supported TLE/400 ?

We also recognise that a lot of our BPCS clients (Mainly Food and Pharma)
have customers that want to send Electronic messages in not only EDI format,
but also in alternatives like XML or even secured files or spreadsheets.
We can provide, using our product ECS/integrated email, the integration into
BPCS for all these types of transactions. ECS/ie can send AS/400 spoolfiles
by email and fax, and also AS/400 data as XML messages and very soon as
EDIFACT messages as well (is in Beta today, planned rollout 1-1-2003).
This gives BPCS users the opportunity to have one integration into BPCS, and
multiple ways to exchange the data to the trading partners. (fax, email
<PDF, TXT, HTML format>, XML and EDIFACT. ECS/ie has been integrated into
BPCS in several modules.
If you want more info on ECS/ie, including the XML and EDIFACT processor,
please let me know off-line. Also see the info on additional BPCS add-on
products and services we provide.
