We are planning in utilizing consignment inventory in BPCS ver 4.05 We have the following questions in handling: How does costing work? Do you still use Purchase Orders and generate receivers? How rolled up finished goods cost (we currently use standard costing does this remain the same)? How is the physical on hand determined to avoid negative on hand balances? How does consignment work in a MRP environment? This may alos be part of vendor managed inventory - supplier's responsibility to maintain agreed upon consignment inventroy levels.
