If you have updated your AS/400 did you update the OS at the same time?
If so, have you applied all of the IBM/SSA recommended PTF's?
Is your Work Management configuration the same as it was on your old machine?
If you were not having the problems before upgrading, and you have not changed
the code, an SSA GT fix may not be the answer.
Upgrading your Interactive processing feature will not help with CEA or OLM
products as these are "Batch" jobs.
Check OGS for performance 'D' BMR's associated with the products you are having
problems with.

Hope this helps.

Subject: Performance Issues

I have a question for anyone regarding the BPCS Client/Server Modules. We
just
upgraded our AS/400 to a model 820. We upgraded our feature card to allow
for more interactive processing (CPW I=240, B=950). We also converted our
client server communications from token-ring to TCP/IP. Ever since we did
this, we have been experiencing periods of unacceptable response time from
both Load Control and the General Ledger. We will receive TCP/IP time out
messages in the C/S modules. Some of the screens will take upwards of 10
minutes to change. Looking at the performance data being captured on the
400, it does not appear to be an AS/400 horsepower issue.
Is it possible that there is a fix from SSA to improve the
performance of the C/S modules? We are running version 6.0.04 of BPCS in
case this makes a difference :)

I would greatly appreciate any help that you may be able to offer in
resolving this problem.
