We too are on BPCS 4.05 CD -- went through a divestiture in 2000. One - out of many - things that changed was our Y/E schedule, i.e., from Jan. 1st to Oct. 1st. Prior to running GLD Y/E close again for the new period, SSA GT had us change our Company Master (GLD125) to reflect the correct amount of "Account Periods" for each company (press F14 to override warning message). Then they had us change the Period Master (GLD105) for each company, zeroing out the remaining periods. Lastly, SSA had us repeat this process to load 12 months of the following year's schedule. I don't recall having to change our GGM file at this time (just at the time of the divestiture for other reasons). Hope this helps. Feel free to contact me w/ any questions. deedee.virgei@nelsonstud.com DeeDee Virgei Nelson Stud Welding, Inc. 7900 West Ridge Rd Elyria, OH 44036 -----Original Message----- From: Zzbpcs@aol.com [mailto:Zzbpcs@aol.com] Sent: Wednesday, January 30, 2002 10:30 AM To: bpcs-l@midrange.com Subject: GL Change of Fiscal Year 4.05 CD -- [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] We are thinking about changing from fiscal year end of April to Dec and I want to know if there any issues with BPCS to do this..ie ..GLD900 2 times in the same year ,etc..?
