Rick, I have upgraded from 3.1 to 6.04 with no significant problems using BPCS conversion utilities. Going on up to v6.1 or V8 should be no problem. However, one thing you need to consider is that v2.0 was not century date compliant. Therefore, you must have done something to make it work after December 1999. That would indicate to me that you cannot use the standard BPCS conversion routines to upgrade your software. This may require either reversing the CD changes or developing your own upgrade path. I would be happy to discuss this with you off line. You can email me directly at mhamilton8685@aol.com or call me at 615-890-8685. Myron Hamilton RE: Looking for some Professional Opinion out there. Problems or Things to look out for when: 1. Moving from BPCS V 2.x to 6.x or 8.x 2. BPCS with Gentran EDI Solution attached. (I have experience with BPCS and Extol) 3. Extol compared to Gentran, Which do you folks prefer. Rick Briggs Sr. Programmer/Analyst Corona Clipper Inc. http://www.coronaclipper.com
