What is the question?

What kind of journaling or approving are you questioning?
BPCS journals into the General Ledger from Inventory Transactions
OS/400 journals filling up & sending QSYSOPR messages
OS/400 Security auditing
BPCS Security which approves who may do what kinds of transactions

If you mean journal activity into GL from inventory, then this is according
to rules setup in the ITE file, by whoever set the business rules for your
company ... which at many companies people may have gone with some BPCS
defaults ... then whatever schedule is used to transfer data to the
accounting department

If you mean something that is going non-stop journaling data base changes to
files ... if it is temporary, like someone trying to figure out how come some
files getting messed up, perhaps the user of the job can give you a clue.

Some software does journaling ... do you want to know who responsible for
starting it? Check your site's programming standards for tracing
modifications.

If you want to know about BPCS Security, check the on-line documentation ...
DOC menu ... option 2 ... leave defaults, scroll through all the documents
that are there ... I not remember the one that was security ... it is pretty
scant of data for security reasons, but there is a bit of an outline there
