Surprise ... I found documentation copy I did not realize came with BPCS ...
perhaps this info might be useful to other folks who might not have realized
this either.

I was looking at our largest objects because IBM APAR II 11801 was mentioned
in association with OS/400 upgrade & fortunately our largest program is only
5 meg (ORD500). I have not yet actually found APAR II 11801 in my search of
IBM Support web sites.

Our ITH file @ 300 meg is the second largest object on our AS/400 & I was
curious to see other runners up.

BPCSDOC is about 60 meg & we have more copies than I realized.
Live environment one we use frequently.
Test environment also has one
I am tempted to copy the Live one to a new library in the library list & then
have both Live & Test access the same copy & eliminate the duplication ... I
want to avoid updates to different places & just keep one version. We do
make additions to the BPCS documentation as we discover nuances not spelled
out in the original documentation.

The surprise was file DOC in library BPCS405CDS
library BPCS405CDS is the source code for BPCS 405 CD
DOC appears to be original for BPCSDOC

We also have a copy y"all might not have.

Our tape backups:
if a file gets corrupted we should find out pretty fast & recover from recent
backup, but we reuse our backup tapes;
if software gets corrupted & we not use it for a while,
like year end or physical,
we might not find out until months after the damage,
so I have safety copy of some software in another library,
but I may need to periodically review the adequacy of that scheme.
