It was 78F and sunny over here when the SSAGT conference was on last week. hehe. Of course winter is only seconds away for us. Should remain quiet on the subject. We run the BOM900 program when required. Mostly after building our new product line for the upcoming year. The Remove all Components Discontinued Before this Date parameter is always put to 010180(Jan 01, 1980). We like to keep our bills intact. Just in case. Of course running this requires all users to be off and remember to backup the MBM, MPB, IIM, MPN files before. (Very important). Lisa is correct when explaining the facts about the Low level codes for MRP. We also run the BOM900 program to re-organize the way the shop orders print out. We like to have our shop orders printed with the key components first, followed by the tooling, packaging, etc.... Hope this helps > ---------- > From: > Dana.M.Buker@dupontpharma.com[SMTP:Dana.M.Buker@dupontpharma.com] > Reply To: bpcs-l@midrange.com > Sent: Wednesday, October 03, 2001 9:51 AM > To: bpcs-l@midrange.com > Subject: (no subject) > > Hello, all. > > We needed to run BOM900 yesterday in order to resequence low level codes > and allow MRP600 to plan properly.
