We pick confirm with interactive selected instead of batch, that way we know that the pick confirm process is completed and does not get "lost" during batch processing. we have very few pick confirms terminating abnormally. If the file does contain data, and no one is running Pick confirm, then a previous pick confirmation has probably terminated abnormally. This file should only be cleared when no pick confirmation is running. I would also suggest investigating why some pick confirmations are terminating abnormally. Hope this helps, Richard I. Our shipping dept. cannot pick confirm customer orders at times. What I'll do is delete the record in the EWR file, then the customer order will show in pick confirm. I found this to work, but I'm wondering why? Why should I have to delete the record so our shipping dept. can process the order thru pick confirm? Are we doing something else wrong? Please advise.
