RE: BOM500 and Loops

Dick,

We had an example at a Biochemical company.  In creating
antigens(parent), we used some of the parent, added media(growth
material) and a roll bottle (container) to create(grow) more of the
same antigen.

In this example the parent required itself as a component.

This could be why it is allowed.
