Dennis,
I believe the field "Previous sign-on" only records access via the "Green
Screen".
I'm not aware of any tracking for any GUI access.
This seems to be the case for Ver. 6.00.04 full C/S at least.

Are you trying to measure specific activity or just active users?

Norm

Subject: Counting BPCS users

AS/400 - V4R5M0 (Current on cum & group ptf's) - Ver. 6.0.02. plf,
March'98 cum, full client/server

Trying to get a handle on the number of users I have working on BPCS & I am
using the field "Previous sign-on" from the DSPUSRPRF *ALL *BASIC *OUTFILE
command.

I've noticed that most of the users have the correct date they last got on
the AS/400 via BPCS. And then there are a small number of users who are
daily users whose last date they signed on was when they were originally set
up 3 years ago. Any clue why or has this happened to you? OGS had nothing
that I could find relative to my version of BPCS.

Probably not a big deal but now I really have to inspect the "Previous
sign-on" field for "accurate" data. It now has gotten to be more work than
it really should be.

Thanks - Dennis.
