A point on which member is selected when using *first. OS400 selects the oldest member by date as *first and so most bpcs programs expect the main member to be the oldest and do not use overrides. I discovered this a few years ago during y2k testing when we changed the system date back 28 years. All of a sudden workstation members were being opened and assumed to be main members because their creation date was prior to the date that ssa compiled the pf's.
