ON 6.02, WHEN BALANCE GOES TO ZERO, LOT STATUS GOES TO Z (DELETED). IF YOU
KEEP YOUR BALANCE OF ANY PARTICULAR LOT ABOVE ZERO, LOT STATUS WILL NOT
CHANGE TO DELETED.

Subject: Re: 4.05 CD Lot Number Uniqueness ??

Hi Folks,

We are trying to use the Lot number in such a way that the one lot number is
valid for a part for a long period of time.
What appears to happen is that when we ship any batch of this lot the system
sets the Lot status to deleted.
Then we cannot S/O receipt that lot unless we reset the lot status.

Other than modifying the shipping process is there an easier method to keep
a lot open.

Thank,

Frank
