We are on BPCS CD REL02 and have a similar problem when we wish to process Sales Returns for a completed Lot. The steps necessary are as follows:- Reactivate the Lot. Change the Lot Status from Z to Q or R. Change the expiration date if it has expired. Process the Sale Return. Change back the expiration date. This procedure would be simplified somewhat if BPCS permitted receipts into an expired Lot. Hi Folks, We are trying to use the Lot number in such a way that the one lot number is valid for a part for a long period of time. What appears to happen is that when we ship any batch of this lot the system sets the Lot status to deleted. Then we cannot S/O receipt that lot unless we reset the lot status. Other than modifying the shipping process is there an easier method to keep a lot open.
