Did you check sequence #s vs. transaction dates BEFORE INV9 end month ie. to confirm the mess you now see was not there all along? It is a common misconception that sequence #s are supposed to match transaction dates. In a testing environment you may have people deliberately doing same transactions using a diversity of dates to verify Y2K compliance, so that you would reasonably expect dates all over the map with adjacent sequence numbers. > From: GlassD@CBFLEET.COM (Debra Glass) > > > Has anyone successfully run INV903 - Inventory Month End Close in 6.1.01 > > where inventory IS lot controlled and records ARE deleted and > > resequenced?? > > > > We have just tested this and have a mess!
